How I got here
I started my business in 2016 as a “kitnapper”. A kitnapper is someone who buys the presenter kit for the deal and signs up to get the discount! I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be perusing Younique as a business. But here I am! Offering my customers excellent service and leading a team of wonderful women! I have always had a love for the cosmetics industry. My favorite all time job, besides being a mom, was traveling all around the US training Sephora staff on two product lines I represented. I was on the road constantly and some days the travel wore me down. However, I was paid well to play with makeup all day long!!! I learned so much during this time about cosmetics, quality of product, and application. With two small girls, traveling at this point in my life is not an options for me… but playing with great quality makeup has proven to be a fantastic choice.

So… who am I?
I am primarily a stay at home mom who has found a new lease on life by empowering women! When my girls started kindergarten, I felt lost. I had been running around after toddlers for 5 years and then just did not know what to do with myself. Twin mom problem, both my girls started the same time! I stopped wearing makeup and lived about 6 months in yoga pants. I over volunteered at their school and realized I needed to find something else. I was truly lacking a purpose in my life. I found myself lost while they were at school and really needed something to that was my own.
I was is invited to my first Facebook Younique bash and decided to see what all the fuss was about. I thought this line was more for young girls and just bought a few things to support my friend hosting. (Want to host a bash??) I totally fell in love with this line and one thing lead to another. I have discovered that when I am made up, I feel better about myself, I accomplish more, and feel like I can tackle what ever challenges the day brings. I love sharing my tips, tricks, and things I have learned with other women! My favorite part of my job is empowering women to strive to be the best version of themselves. Sisters, we are all in this together!
